Reconnect
Notice where you leave yourself in a room. The softening, the joke that makes your point smaller, the silence that should have been a sentence.
1:1 leadership coaching for the recovering people pleaser
I’m Audrey, and I coach leaders who run teams, companies, or projects and who are tired of leading while quietly editing themselves.
What got you here was skills. What keeps you here is something else. Leading costs you something when you are still trying to be liked.
Maybe this is your inner monologue:
“You are home and your mind is still in the meeting. You lie down and you are still preparing for tomorrow. Nothing is on fire, and you still cannot put it down.”

When you took the role, nobody said the hard part would be staying yourself. More people need something from you now, every decision lands on someone, and the more you carry the quieter your own voice gets.
You became good at reading a room before you say anything. Good at holding the tension so everyone else could stay calm. That is a real skill, and it is also why you end the day with nothing left for yourself.
This is not about becoming difficult instead. It is about being you in the room, the actual version and not the easy one, and finding out that the room handles it better than you were told.
You cannot fake presence in a room that is actually watching you, and that is the thing I help you find again.
From “how do I sound?” to “what do I think?”
If most of that reads like a description of your week, we probably have something to work on together.
Presence first, frameworks after
I am not going to hand you a new leadership style to perform. We notice where you abandon yourself at work, help your body feel safe enough to speak anyway, and make room for the leader you already are.
This is not a communication course with ten scripts for difficult conversations. We work underneath the technique, where the habit actually lives.
I trained as an actor, I teach tango, and I ran a company of my own. So I know what it is like to look confident when you are not sure, and I know the body decides before the words do. That is why I work on the half second before you speak, the moment you quietly leave yourself. We find it while it is happening, and you come back to leading from what you actually think instead of everyone else’s reaction.
I am an ACC coach, accredited by the
International Coaching Federation.
Notice where you leave yourself in a room. The softening, the joke that makes your point smaller, the silence that should have been a sentence.
Understand why staying small once kept you safe, and calm your body enough to stay in a hard conversation instead of managing your way out of it.
Say the thing. Give the feedback. Take the space your role already gave you, instead of waiting to feel ready for it.
The goal was never to make the nerves disappear before you start. It is whether you can still show up fully once you are in it.
What actually changes
Public speaking and difficult conversations
Some of the work is deep, and some of it is very practical. You have a presentation to give, or a difficult conversation with someone on your team. I help you prepare for exactly that, so you walk in as yourself and say what you actually mean.
How to stand in front of a room and still sound like you. We prepare what you will say, and we work with the nerves before you go on, so they carry you instead of running you.
The feedback, the no, the talk with someone on your team that you keep rewriting in your head. We find the words you actually mean, and you say them out loud with me before you have to say them at work.
We practice it together before the real day. I can be the room, the board or the employee who pushes back, so the first time you say the words is not in front of your team. And we work with the body too, because that is where the nerves show up first.
Two kinds of work
This page is the leadership work, for whoever holds a role and wants to stop shrinking inside it.
The personal work is the same journey without the title. It is for the woman who is losing herself in a relationship, a family, or in being the one everyone relies on.
Some people need both. We start wherever you are and follow what comes up.

A free 20 minute connection call
I do this work one to one, and it’s called The Real Thing. Book a free connection call and we talk for twenty minutes about where you are, and you leave with something useful whether or not we work together.
We work online. I am based in Copenhagen, so we can meet in person there, and I travel for workshops too. Wherever you are, we can find a way.
